Julian Awad was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1973. He felt the calling of God from an early age, ministering with missionaries in Indonesia as a teenager and trained as a youth pastor while in high school in Colorado. In the last few years he has pursued that calling and the open doors to preach in Uganda, hold a crusade in Harrisburg, PA, preach at local churches and on a regular basis at the Bethesda Mission homeless shelter, and helps shepherd a daily online prayer meeting. In January 2020 he led a 12 day crusade in Uganda that shared the gospel in the streets, on radio stations, in churches, at a youth conference, and at Uganda’s 2nd largest prison.
Since 2018, he has directed a ministry in Uganda that provides discipleship, English language training, and vocational training with sewing machines in 3 locations in Uganda (Mbarara, Igayaza, and Kibaale).
He is an active member of the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship of America and participates in weekly meetings with Christian Business Men’s Connection.
Julian was ordained as a Deacon Minister in 2019 through Christian Leaders Alliance and was commissioned by Pastor Dr. Gregory Reid thereafter.
Julian is a bi-vocational minister who owns and operates a small business and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a member of Christian Life Assembly and is married with three children. His calling and desire is to evangelize and to bring the gospel to every person and every nation.
